Redundant power

Dual feeds into every rack, UPS protection for the seconds between a mains failure and the generators picking up, and on-site diesel with a refuelling contract for longer outages. Power draw per rack is monitored so a single circuit is never run to its limit.

Carrier-diverse networking

Multiple upstream carriers with physically separate entry points, so a single fibre cut does not take a site offline. Routing is optimised for European and Nordic eyeball networks, and DDoS filtering sits at the edge rather than in front of your server.

Cooling and fire suppression

N+1 cooling holds a stable inlet temperature through summer peaks, with VESDA early smoke detection and gas suppression rather than water in the data halls.

Physical security

Manned access control, mantraps, CCTV coverage with retained footage and access logs per cabinet. Our own racks in Coventry mean only our engineers handle your hardware.

Remote hands

Engineers on site to swap a failed drive, reseat memory or attach a crash cart — included for hardware faults on dedicated servers rather than billed by the fifteen minutes.

Data residency

Coventry keeps United Kingdom data in the United Kingdom; Stockholm keeps EU workloads inside the EU. Choosing a site is enough to satisfy most residency requirements — no separate contract needed.

How to choose a region

Three questions settle it in almost every case:

  • Where are your users? Latency is dominated by distance. A visitor in Manchester reaches Coventry in a handful of milliseconds; the same request to a US east-coast server costs roughly eighty more, on every round trip.
  • Where must the data live? Contracts and regulators often name a country. Pick the site that matches and the question stops being an engineering problem.
  • Where is the rest of your stack? Keeping application servers and databases in one site removes cross-region latency and egress charges entirely.
