UK dedicated servers — raw power, all to yourself
Single-tenant bare metal in the UK, in our own racks in Coventry: enterprise CPUs, ECC memory and redundant networking. Fully managed options available.
Bare-metal plans
Every server below is a whole physical machine. No neighbours, no shared cores, no burst credits — the specs you order are the specs you get, twenty-four hours a day.

What is included on every dedicated server
Enterprise hardware
Xeon and EPYC class CPUs, registered ECC memory and enterprise NVMe drives in every chassis. ECC catches the single-bit memory errors that silently corrupt databases on consumer hardware, and the drives are rated for sustained write workloads rather than desktop duty cycles.
Full hardware control
Root access from the first boot, plus IPMI/KVM so you can reinstall, mount an ISO or watch the POST screen without opening a ticket. Install any operating system or hypervisor you like — Proxmox, VMware, plain Debian, Windows Server.
Redundant networking
Carrier-diverse uplinks with a dedicated port speed per server, IPv4 and IPv6 allocations, and always-on volumetric DDoS mitigation at the network edge. Additional IP subnets and private VLANs between your machines are available on request.
Our own racks
Every UK machine sits in racks we operate ourselves inside a certified facility in Coventry, so an engineer can physically reach your server. Replacement drives and memory are held on site rather than ordered after a failure.
Predictable billing
One monthly price that includes the traffic allowance, DDoS protection and remote hands for hardware faults. No per-gigabyte egress metering and no surcharge while an attack is being filtered.
Engineers on call
Hardware and network incidents are handled by our own team, 24/7, whether or not you buy managed cover. Managed plans add OS patching, monitoring, backup verification and hardening on top.
Dedicated server or cloud VPS?
Most workloads start on a cloud VPS and stay there happily. Bare metal earns its price when one of the following is true:
- Sustained CPU load. Virtualised plans are sized for bursty traffic. A build farm, a video encoder or an analytics job that pins every core for hours is cheaper and faster on a dedicated machine.
- Latency-sensitive storage. Direct-attached NVMe with no hypervisor in the path gives noticeably tighter I/O tail latency for busy database primaries.
- Isolation requirements. Some compliance regimes and customer contracts simply require that no other tenant shares the hardware.
- Core-based licensing. When software is licensed per physical core, knowing exactly which cores you have avoids expensive guesswork.
- Your own hypervisor. Running Proxmox or VMware and carving your own VMs out of the box is only possible on bare metal.
If none of those apply, a VPS is usually the better value — and you can migrate to dedicated hardware later without changing provider.
Dedicated server FAQ
What is the difference between a dedicated server and a VPS?
A dedicated server gives you every core, all of the RAM and the full NVMe array of one physical machine — nothing is shared with another tenant. A VPS is a virtual slice of a host, which is cheaper and deploys in seconds but shares the underlying hardware. Choose dedicated when you need predictable performance under sustained load, hardware-level isolation, or licences tied to physical cores.
How long does it take to provision a dedicated server?
Servers already racked in our Coventry facility are handed over the same business day. Custom builds, unusual disk or memory configurations and additional uplinks typically take 24–72 hours because the parts are fitted and burn-in tested before handover.
Are the dedicated servers managed or unmanaged?
Unmanaged by default: you get full root access, IPMI/KVM and a clean OS install of your choice. Managed cover — OS patching, monitoring, backups and hardening — is available as an add-on, and our engineers are reachable 24/7 on network and hardware issues regardless of which option you pick.
Is DDoS protection included?
Yes. Always-on, network-level volumetric mitigation is included on every dedicated server at no extra cost, with no separate scrubbing fee and no traffic surcharge during an attack.
Can I upgrade the hardware later?
RAM and storage can usually be added in place during a short maintenance window. CPU or chassis changes mean a migration to a new machine, which our team schedules with you and performs at no migration charge.
Where are the servers located?
In our own racks in a certified Coventry (United Kingdom) data centre, with Stockholm (Sweden) available for Nordic and Baltic audiences. Both sites run redundant power and carrier-diverse networking.
